IC= Integrated Circuit chip/microchip
I dont know how your knowledge is in refining, but many of the different types of IC-chips has more or less gold bonding wires and sometimes even other precious metals.
To get the precious metals out of the IC-chips you have to burn them and crush them repeatedly to fine powder (ASH)… And that’s what I meant

It didn`t disturb me, relax....I just wrote for the info to be more accurate....no harm done...Pete, I only did a quick google image search on IC-chips, and that picture is not mine. It’s from some India site.. I just wanted to make a quick explanation for the member who asked me about “IC-ash”. And i apologies if my quick choice of picture disturbed you
.. I wrote that in a hurry and inserted the photo without minding that it was other components in the pile..
